After living in several places due to my husband’s military career, we finally settled in Severn, Maryland—right outside Ft. Meade. It’s where our family found our forever home and built a life full of love, purpose, and community.

Almost four years ago, my mom made the big move from Germany to live with us here. Having three generations under one roof has been a blessing and a beautiful reminder of how important *home* really is. It’s not just about a structure—it’s about the people and moments that fill it.

With over two decades of experience as a military spouse and now the wife of a government contractor, I understand firsthand the stress and uncertainty that can come with moving—especially when you’re balancing kids, careers, and timelines.
